TRAINING

Become CPR confident and let us demystify defibrillators with you at our cardiac arrest awareness sessions;
Would you know what to do if somebody's heart stopped beating? Find out with us, for free!

You can join our certified trainers in small, friendly groups of 10 or less to learn how to save a life. Our sessions are a mix of theory and practice and you will learn:

  • how to spot the signs of a cardiac arrest

  • how to manage a cardiac arrest emergency

  • how to perform CPR

  • how to use a defibrillator

  • the difference between a heart attack and a cardiac arrest

  • baby and child CPR

  • how to help someone who is choking

We welcome people of all ages to our training (whether you are 5 or 105) but please note that children and young people under the age of 16 will require a parent/carer present at all times. Our friendly, informative training sessions truly are accessible for all! Our trainers are fully certified to deliver basic life support skills sessions.

As well as providing individual training, for a donation to our defibrillator and bleed kit appeal, we also train in schools (staff and pupils), workplaces and organisations/clubs. If you are interested in group training, please get in touch today: clare@thepaulalanproject.org

Cancellations

We know that sometimes you may book on to a session then not be able to attend. If this happens, please call 07754 796 550 or email us: clare@thepaulalanproject.org as soon as you know you won't be able to make it so we can offer your space(s) to someone else and start our sessions on time.

Just because our training is free, it doesn't mean it isn't valuable - we are all volunteers who take time away from our families to train people for free. Please respect our training and trainers by letting us know you will not be attending.
