Our aims for 2024

​

• To supply at least 10 public access defibrillators and bleed control kits for community use across London and Surrey

• To train at least 1000 people in basic life support skills (BLS)

• To continue to raise awareness of cardiac arrests and how organisations can better plan for if one occurs

• To continue to appeal to businesses and organisations to house their existing indoor defibrillators within a 24/7 public access cabinet

As with all charitable organisations, we are unable to carry out our lifesaving community work without the funds to do so. Please help us to raise funds by attending one of our events or if you can donate to our fundraising page to help us meet our targets, please consider doing so here. A lifesaving emergency cabinet housing a defibrillator and bleed control kit costs £1600, including the cost of the electrician to install it.

 

We are also really keen to hear from you if you would like to complete a fundraiser or challenge for us, too! Perhaps you've always fancied participating in a Tough Mudder style challenge, a half marathon or sky dive? If so, please speak with us! For anyone who wants to challenge themselves and fundraise for us at the same time, we will pay your event registration fee (up to the value of £100) and support you all the way for a fundraising return of at least £300. We will also provide you with a Project tee shirt or sports vest for your event.

If running through parks and getting muddy isn't for you, perhaps you might like to organise a neighbourhood bake sale - the possibilities are endless! Basically, if you are keen to fundraise for us, we would love to hear from you and work with you!
 

When you fundraise for The Paul Alan Project, your donations go towards our accessible defibrillator and bleed control kit appeal. We do not have high outgoings on salaries, travel/vehicular or premises expenses - we are a true not-for-profit.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
